In addition to being sick my first day here, tiring out easily, and feeling like a weakling, there are some other side effects of the altitude. For instance, even with 2 applications of sunscreen, I´ve managed to get burned three days in row. I have this really fabulous V-shaped red spot on my chest, with a white streak where my braid was. Also, any product that was in a bottle or tube--shampoo, coverup, hand sanitizer--has expanded, and comes gushing out in copious quantities when you remove the cap.
Also, in case you were wondering, it has been sunny and 70 degrees every day here. Heehee!
